Moon Festival BBQ /中秋烤肉初體驗

The 15th day of the 8th lunar month is the Chinese Moon Festival enjoyed by most Chinese around the globe. In Taiwan, in addition to the full traditional shabang, people also do BBQ. This trend was started by the following darn TV commercial two decades ago.

全球的華人大都過中秋節，但只有臺灣人在中秋節烤肉。這是二十多年前下面這支廣告引起的流行。



Since I have been away most of the time, this is my first opportunity to participate in this new tradition.

因為我常年流浪，這是我頭一次有機會參加秋節烤肉。


I crashed a party held for 7-11 staffs. Too bad they switched to electric hot pot instead of BBQ, for the sake of cutting down CO2 emmition. Nonetheless, there were still loads of fun.

我跑去湊一家7-11員工聚會的熱鬧。可惜他們為了節能減碳，改吃火鍋。不過還是很好玩。
