If you are interested in visiting the historical sites around Hue, signing up for a tour is not a bad idea, unless you are there to conduct an in-depth research.
When I first arrived in Hue, a motor taxi approached me, and offered me the tour for US$6. He showed me a small booket containing the references of his previous customers. One of the comments were written by a fellow Taiwanese traveler in traditional Chinese. He did enjoy the service. However, he also pointed out the price should be able to be bargained down to less than US$4.
Later, I found out the tour offered by Binh Duong I Hotel was only US$6 including boat ride, bus ride, and lunch. Consider the credibility of the hotel, this became my logical choice.
Although they claim the lunch is included in the tour, its quantity seems Vietnamese too me. Some fellow traveler ordered extra dishes on the boat. They were not thrilled by what they got. I would strongly advise packing your own lunch. The pork dompling from Pho Sai Gon and baguette sandwiches are good choices.
Make sure you bring enough Vietnamese Dong. You are responsible for your own admission. Most sites costs VND 50,000.
如果你想參觀順化附近的古蹟，除非你想做深度考古研究，否則跟團是個不錯的選擇。記得帶夠越南盾。不少自費景點。大都是五萬盾。
初到順化時，有個摩的找上我。說包他一天美金六元，包講解。他還拿出本小冊子，裡頭有他以前的客人留下的評語。其中有也臺灣背包客用中文寫的。他說服務還不錯，但是價錢應該可以殺到美金四元以下。
後來我發現Binh Duong I旅社也有提供旅遊服務。他們的是美金六元，包船、車、導遊及午餐。
雖然號稱包午餐，但我用力建議自備。他們提供的午餐大概是照越南人的飯量計算的。我那團有人自費加菜，也吃不慣。可以考慮帶Pho Sai Gon的肉包或是三明治。
不只中國常州有趙根大。

我似乎聽說自戕生命也是佛門大戒？

The Tomb for the Last Emperor of Viet Nam/越南末代皇帝之墓
The tour guide said this tomb was quite well preserved as it used concrete, so people could not rob the building materials.
導遊說這座墓保存特別完好，因為是用混凝土蓋的，所以百姓無法拆下磚瓦再利用。
