Tungkang is a famous fishing port in Formosa. The religious ritual of burning a newly built loaded ship has always been a party so big I dare not go. Expat Market is its famous tourist trap attraction. Prices here are suppose to be too rich for the local blood. Nonetheless, it is dirt cheap compared with the city of Kaohsiung Takao. I have scored some fish sperm at 1/3 the price of Takao today.

Tips:

• The asking price at Expat Market is standardized, especially whebn it comes to restaurants. Although, bargaining is possible, I do not encourage starting a bad trend. Instead, when doing comparison shopping, shop for the quality. If you cannot tell, then try your luck.
• You may purchase fresh seafood, and the restaurants around will cook for you at a standardized price.

東港的華僑市場雖然是做外客生意的，但仍遠比高雄打狗便宜。零北今天幹到的烏魚洨膘的價錢就只有打狗的三分之一。商家開價幾乎都標準化了，尤其是餐廳。雖然有殺價的空間，但零北不建議開惡例。建議比質不比價。

可以買海鮮，再找人加工。價錢似乎是公定價，看來家家都相同。

喔！脫落！/O Toro/Fatty Belly-NT$200：

最近聽到一票附庸風雅的痞子靠腰曰要去東港吃脫落，號稱脫落就是黑鮪魚的日語。其實脫落(toro)並不是鮪魚，更不是黑鮪魚，而是指魚肚。也就是說：不是鮪魚，也有脫落；是脫落，不一定是黑鮪魚。而魚肚又分上腹、中腹、下腹。出名到靠腰的是黑鮪魚上腹。換句話說，零北塞你一塊虱目魚下腹，都能號稱是脫落。

上圖的是嘔脫落（上腹）。零北沒問是啥魚。

這攤的蒜放得有點太澎湃，零北的女人受不了。
This restaurant is a bit too generous on garlic. Just look at the gigantic chunks. My woman was not crazy about it.
