我見識過的笨蛋都很愛面子。
我想他們可能是因為沒有裡子，只好追求面子。但追求面子的結果，是永遠不能從錯誤中學習。因為永遠不會有長進，所以永遠不會有裡子。結果永遠都是個自我感覺良好的笨蛋。
識別這種笨蛋的方法，在看他們是否會認錯、道歉。「人非聖賢，孰能無過？」是人就會犯錯。會認錯，就可能具備從錯誤中學習的能力；有長進，再笨也有限。
The idiots I have met value their faces very much.
Perhaps, to them, losing face means losing everything, for they do not have anything else. As they never acknowledge their mistakes, they never learn from them either. Hence there will never be any improvement, and they stay stupid forever.
To identify these kind of idiots is to see if they ever acknowledge their mistakes. The ability to learn from mistakes ensures improvement. This ability puts a cap on stupidity.
