This is a map of Europe, rotated 90 degrees clockwise. It appears to be a queen with Spain as the head, Italy as one of her arms... etc. The first time I saw a turned European map was by Czech Republic. Their version puts Bohemia right at the heart of the queen.

Taiwanese thought our island was a piece of sweet potato, until some smart ass dug out this ancient map, and called it a whale.
