最近衛視電影臺又在重播無間道了。這部電影早已是經典，山寨滿街，連好萊塢都要翻拍，早已不須再推薦。

「無間道」是佛家語，片中有解釋。但這部片子的洋文名也用心到滿滿的都是梗。無間道，洋文名叫Infernal Affairs：

從字面上來講，"Infernal" 是來自 "Inferno" 的形容詞。"Inferno" 原是拉丁文的「地獄」。

這個字也是英文的外來語，多用來形容火災現場，如 BBC: 1993: Waco cult siege ends with inferno
啊「地獄」的英文不是 "Hell" 嗎？幹嘛不用 "Hellish," 要用 "Infernal" 呢？因為有梗。"Infernal" 跟 "Internal" 音近。而美國警界負責自清，調查自己人的部門就叫 "Internal Affairs Department."

無間道中，劉德華在警界所屬的內務部正是 Internal Affairs。在正、邪間，受盡無間之煎熬，正是名副其實的 "Infernal Affairs."
