In the beginning of Appleseed Ex Machina, before an assault by the ESWAT team, the team leader asks the members to synchronize their watches on his mark. I wonder when, how, and what the heck do they need to sync their watches manually.

Since all of my time pieces synchronizes with atomic clocks automatically, today, I have no need to sync any of them at all. I wonder why the heck ESWAT needs to manually sync their watches a century later.

網路時間協議（英語：Network Time Protocol，NTP）是以封包交換把兩台電腦的時鐘同步化的網路協議。NTP使用UDP埠123作為傳輸層。它是用作抵銷可變延遲的影響。
既然零北所有的時計都自動與原子鐘同步，零北就沒有對時的必要。零北很好奇：為蝦米一百多年後的ESWAT還要手動對錶？
