2013 APCE-YSE Keynote Speech by the Founder of Acer
Although the majority of the audience understood Mandarin Chinese, and interpreters were available, he insisted on giving the keynote speech in English. His reason was to provide an opportunity for us to listen to a speech in English. Now I know how Acer has been going down.
施先生說：雖然在場懂華語的人比較多，而且現場有同步口譯，但是為了讓大家練習聽英語，所以他用英語演講。就算他沒有自知之明，是他聽不進底下人的話，還是沒人敢告訴他？難怪宏碁越來越爛。
