In that cartoon, there was a mantis with his son.
零北小時候超愛看卡通，但對小蜜蜂卻是又愛又恨。
恨，因為超愛拖棚；
愛，只因為它是卡通。

螳螂是小蜜蜂裡相當威水，而且後來改「邪」歸「正」的角色：

記得後來還出現了他「兒子」。可是最近看到下面這幅漫畫，

熊熊想到... 螳螂是不大可能有「兒子」的，因為螳螂一開始交配母螳螂就會把公螳螂的頭咬掉，然後吃掉整隻公螳螂來作為產卵所需的養分。

除了捕食其他小生物，螳螂亦有同類相食的自然習性。這個習性引致在螳螂交配後，部分雄性的螳螂會被雌性螳螂吃掉；也有觀察顯示雄性螳螂有機會在交配中途被雌性螳螂吃掉上半身，而下半身可以維持交配一段長時間的狀態。有估計雄螳螂其實可以在交配後逃走，可是雌螳螂在交配後必須要吃掉雄螳螂，才可以確保雌性螳螂有足夠養份產下卵鞘。
